Bought my commodore yesterday and found out one of the speakers was abit faulty, I went to two different places before finding sound works with one of the other shops trying to charge me $300 for new speakers for both sides!! 🙃 unfortunately I didnt catch his name but one of the workers of sound works fixed all the faulty wiring with my speaker for me in 10-15mins free of charge saving me getting ripped off 😇 Very happy customer highly recommend ❤️

I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Nick and Greg over the last few weeks doing a full new sound system. They took the time to understand exactly what I was wanting to achieve and helped me understand the different potential options. Highly knowledgeable but more importantly good buggers who went above and beyond for me which was highly appreciated. Could not recommend them more, I won't be going anywhere else. Had a problem with my car's audio unit and steering audio controls. went to a couple of shops around but no lack in fixing my cars's problems. Good thing i was accommodated at Sound Work Christchurch . Nick had it check even he is quite busy at that time. He even explained and showed the cause of the problem. Few minutes later, Nick was able to fix all the issues. I highly recommend Nick, highly knowledgeable and very accomodating. Thanks Mate

I came in with a particularly bad issue - I bought an Android head unit online and then tried to fit it myself.

I spoke with a number of companies who all told me they wouldn't help, then I called the team at Soundworks.

They made it work! Absolutely awesome service and the price was more than fair for the grief I put them through.

I couldn't recommend them enough.

Greg & Nick were great. Very helpful with all my questions pre booking. Selected radio unit fit for my use, answered extra questions & quickly, easily on quote installed. Had a good ol chat & also helped me understand the placement & use of features of the Kenwood unit within a car I was still getting used to eg link to steering wheel, reversing camera, USB & mic cables. Went the extra mile. Even had the chance to drive my first electric vehicle, thanks.

I came to this guy to install a band expander in my car. He opened up the dash and stereo in my car but turned out one was already installed and taught me how to use it properly, explained really well too. He did this work (looked like a bit of a mish to get into the stereo) without asking for a cent! Really appreciate it and took about 20 minutes in total. Top man!
